Answers,
Before You Ask

As a parent, you have every right to be concerned about where your student will live while attending TTU. Here’s the information you need to know, all in one place.

More of What Parents Ask
When does the lease start and end?

Our leases are aligned with TTU’s academic calendar and run from August through July. Lease dates may vary by year, so residents should refer to their individual lease agreement for their exact move-in and move-out dates.

What is an individual lease?
Individual leasing is a common structure in off-campus student apartments. It allows your student to sign their own lease, separate from their roommates, creating separate financial obligations within the apartment.
What is included in the monthly payment?
Monthly payments include high-speed wireless internet, access to the apartment, and access to all of our common spaces, resources, and amenities. Utilities are billed separately.
Who do we call if there’s a problem?

If something breaks in your student’s apartment, you have questions, or a problem pops up mid-year, our on-site management and maintenance staff are here to help. Simply call our front office and we will do our best to help you out.

How does roommate living work?

The Carlton House allows residents to select their own roommates or to be paired with compatible roommates by our leasing team. Regardless, roommate living allows residents to share an apartment with other students, without having to share a bedroom, bathroom, or housing contract.

Does my student need a guarantor?

Students typically need a guarantor to qualify to live in our student apartments near TTU. Please contact our leasing office to learn more about our guarantor requirements.
